 Part 2 of Lindberg U. S. Moon Ship kitbash.

I wanted a different base from the kit's small square one.

Main landing surface is being made from part of a clear plastic picnic plate.







 Since threads are impermanent over at http://www.starshipmodeler.net/talk/index.php and my health now makes hobby project progress rather sloooooooooooooow, I think I'll revive Blogger and put some things here.

The first one being a kitbashing project using Lindberg's U. S. Moon Ship. 

Project was initiated last year for a group build at http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/forum/331-that-aint-real-gb/

It was likely it would not be finished during build time frame as my health can lead to many months of inactivity between spurts of progress; a thing which sometimes involves a project being set aside while progress is made on a different one..

Now, let's see if I can remember how to get pictures in to this thing.

Am adding solar panels which the 1950's inspiration of Von Braun's 'around the moon' ship did not have.
